So i had of heard of lonavala a lot since its very close to Aamchi Mumbai but never had a chance to discover this Heaven around. Just sharing my experience of this bliss town i visited in peak of monsoon of yr 2015.
Since we already had enough rain i had thought that this hill station would be in peak of its beauty and greenery ! I booked a 2 days pacakage via goibibo for 2 days and 1 night.
Boarded into Purple Metrolink from Dahisar a Good AC bus for relaxing travelling in the morning, the seat were comfortable enough to give us some rest while we cross Mumbai and all pickup point the bus halted which were like speed breaker to our excitement. Started at 7.30 we reached lonavala at whooping time of 11.30 which was around 1.5 hrs of delay but the scenic beauty was awesome and was continues breathtaking scene once we went mid of Mumbai pune expressway. the tunnels were as exciting as they should be as we were in full mood of enjoyment.
we were dropped at Lonaval exit which give me bit of pain since i was told drop point will be lonavala but my worry dint last much as we could see auto rickshaw in front of us waiting !
Note: Auto-Rick in Lonaval are most costly than Uber SUV :D
for 5 km to hotel we were charge 150 and we finally made it to Hotel, Booked via goibibo I had booked the hotel based on pics from goibibo and was so delighted that it is indeed an great property to stay in. The best place you will love about it is the location its perfect spot for travelling,shopping and resting your time. The service is great and upto the mark ! The super deluxe room are best you can call for, food is also great so makes it complete package for joy and relaxation ! The Hotel was "The Metropole Hotel' Lonavala !
I will recommend this as its just perfect location and good property to stay if you going 1st time or want everything at very ease. The Lunch was good after travel and we took some sleep on great soft bed offered in super deluxe room to us. In the Evening around 5 we were up and thinking about what next to be done for day and after conluding the sunset timing on my iphone we decided to go discover Lonavala's true beauty.
After inquiring with half a dozen auto wala's we got a man who agreed to take us at Sunset point and Ramachi point for 250 back and forth. and beauty of this point cant be express just watch this.
Next day the spot were as follows each and everyone of them being unique and we had best experience of all !

we also went to khandala, Ramachi point, Temple, in between making it complete package for 2nd day as well.
after that we took Neetva valvo from Neeta Inn at 6 and finally at 10.30 we reached Borivali National Park to look back to this awesome time we had at Lonaval and Khandala !
